The Realm of God | The Gospel of Thomas: Sayings #2 and #3 – Collective Edition

Christ spoke to them, “Whoever grasps the true essence of these teachings will transcend death.”

Christ said:

“Seek persistently until you discover the truth.
When you uncover it, you might feel unsettled.
But in that discomfort, you will find awe.
And in that awe, you will reign supreme over all.”

Christ continued:

“If your leaders tell you, ‘The kingdom is up in the sky!’ then the birds will reach it before you.
If they claim, ‘It’s in the sea,’ then the fish will get there first.
Instead, know this: the kingdom is within you and all around you.”

“When you truly understand yourselves, you will be seen and recognized, realizing you are children of the living Divine.
But if you fail to know yourselves, you will live in scarcity, and that scarcity will define you.”
